Decks cleared for Odyssey to set up Science City in AP
Hyderabad, Jan 8 (UNI) The decks have been cleared for the Odyssey Science City (India) Private Limited to set up a Science City at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh.
A delegation led by Odyssey Senior Vice-President Christopher John Baker today met Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, who gave green signal for the Science City, an official release here said.
Odyssey would remit the land cost to APIIC, which would acquire the land and hand it over to the company.
The land owners, who were willing to sell them, would be given Rs 1.5 lakh for dry land and Rs two lakh for wet land per acre.
The company needed about 10,000 acres of land in the first phase, the release added.
