CBI court frames charges against Pandher in Jyoti murder case
Ghaziabad, Jan 8 (UNI) A CBI court today framed charges against Nithari serial killings accused Moninder Singh Pandher in the Jyoti murder case.
CBI Special Judge Rama Jain ordered registering cases and initiating trial against Pandher under IPC Sections 302, 376, 201, 319 and 120(b).
Counsel for Nithari victims, Khalid Khan, said Jyoti was murdered at the Noida residence of Pandher. Based on the account of Jhabbulal, charges of murder, rape and concealment of evidence has been registered against the accused, he said. Pandher would now be tried along with his servant Surendra Koli for the murder, he added.
Earlier, the CBI had given a clean chit to Pandher in the Jyoti murder case and had only charged Koli with the murder.
The next hearing of the case will be on January 17.
