One youth killed, one injured in bike-truck collision

Phagwara, Jan 3 (UNI) A youth driving a motorbiike was killed on the spot, while his friend on the pillion was injured when their vehicle collided with a truck coming from the opposite side on Phagwara-Hoshiarpur road this afternoon.

Sonu (24) and his friend Gurtaij Singh were going to Hoshiarpur when the accident occurred, police said.

The injured Gurtaij Singh was admitted in a local civil hospital.

Police has registered a case.
