Four members of a family found dead
Chandigarh, Jan 3 (UNI) Four members of a family were found dead in a house at Mauli Housing Complex in the union territory here this morning, police said.
The deceased were identified as Karpan (40), his wife and heir two sons. Their neighbour called the police when they did not respond to his knocking at the door.
SSP S S Shrivastva, who visited the site, told UNI that it appeared the deaths were caused by food poisoning as there were signs of vomiting. There was no evidence of any foul play found, he said.
A forensic team has rushed to the spot. The bodies have been sent for a postmortem examination.
