Chandigarh Film Festival to begin from Feb 1
Chandigarh, Jan 2 (UNI) The Chandigarh Administration, in association with Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), will organise the second Chandigarh Film Festival in the city from February 1 to 4.
Stating this here today, an official spokesman said that as many as 20 films, including renowned national and international movies, would be screened in the festival at various venues like Fun Republic and Batra theatre.
The six international films which would be screened include two Hungarian films, one Italian, one Austrian, one Iranian and one film from Holland. The remaining 14 films would include nine Hindi movies, four children films and one animated movie.
Various prominent film personalities like Mr Yash Chopra, Mr Shyam Benegal, Mr Anupam Kher and Mr M S Sathyu would be present during the festival.
On this ocassion a conference and an animation workshop would also be organised by CII on February 2.
