Asian Tea and Exports Ltd to acquire tea estate in Assam

New Delhi, Jan 1 (UNI) Kolkata-based tea exporter Asian Tea and Exports Ltd today said it plans to acquire a tea estate in Assam.

''The estate produces 40 lakh kgs of tea. We will acquire it along with another export firm,'' the company said in a statement.

This will enhance the business potential of the company and provide ready source of produce for exports, it added.
