93 blasts: Sanjay Dutt found guilty under Arms Act
Mumbai, Nov 23: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt was today found guilty under the Arms Act but acquitted under the TADA (P) Act for his role in the 1993 bomb blasts case by a special court here.
Designated Judge Pramod Kode convicted the actor under sections 3, 7 and 25 of the Arms Act. He, however, acquitted of charges under the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act.
The court will pronounce the quantum of sentence under the Arms Act after recording his statement. Dutt has already undergone imprisonment for 16 months and has been out on bail in the case for quite some time.
The actor's sister Priya Dutt told a TV channel that he would apply for bail.
The bail application has been put up before the TADA Judge.
