Mumbai, Nov 28: Its a big judgement day for Munnabhai as he stands to be convicted for his role in 1993 blasts.

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, summoned to appear today before the TADA court here which is likely to give verdict on his alleged role in the 1993 bomb blasts case, reached the designated court amid tight security arrangements.

Dressed in blue denims and check shirt, Dutt, son of former Union Minister Sunil Dutt, was accompanied by sister Namrata and Maharashtra Minister of State for Civil Supplies Baba Siddique among others, when he arrived at the high security court of TADA judge Pramod Kode shortly before 1100 hrs.

Besides Sanjay, the court has summoned Zebunisa Kazi, Yusuf Nallwalla, Samir Hingora, Ibrahim Musa Chouhan, Rusi Mulla, Kersi Adajenia and former Additional Collector of Customs Somnath Thapa to appear in the court today.

Except Thapa, the cases of others are linked with that of the actor who is alleged to have acquired an Ak-56 rifle and later destroyed it.

Dutt is charged under Section 120-b IPC (conspiracy), Section 3 (3) of TADA (P) act for keeping three AK-56 rifles, its ammunition, 9 mm pistol, its cartridges and hand grenades which were part of the consignment smuggled by Tiger Memon to set off a series of blasts in Mumbai on March 12, 1993.

He is also charged under Section 5 of TADA (P) Act for possessing weapons, Section 6 of the same act (for contravening provisions of other acts) and Section 3 and 7 read with Section 25 of Arms Act.

According to CBI, Abu Salem, Baba Chouhan, Mansoor Ahmed, Samir Hingora and late Hanif Kadawala had gone to Sanjay's house and delivered weapons including three AK-56 rifles, ammunition and hand grenades.

Dutt kept one AK-56 rifle and a pistol with himself and returned the rest of the arms which were taken away by Mansoor Ahmed from Sanjay's residence to the house of co-accused Zebunisa Kazi.

Actor Sanjay Dutt will appear at the TADA court on Tuesday morning and is likely to hear the much-awaited verdict on his alleged role in the blasts case amid heightened media glare and nationwide anticipation.

Early on Tuesday morning, a flurry of priests could be seen at Dutt's Imperial Heights for a big puja that is being organised there.

Also seen arriving were some of the actor's friends from Bollywood and other fields.

On the eve of the verdict, Dutt visited the famous Siddhivinayak temple at Prabhadevi in Mumbai and offered prayers.
