LS adjourned for half hour on Vande Mataram issue

New Delhi, Aug 22: The BJP-led opposition today stalled the Question Hour in the Lok Sabha, demanding an apology from Human Resources Development Minister Arjun Singh for stating that singing of Vande Mataram was optional.

The NDA members, led by BJP MPs, entered the well of the house and forced the Speaker to adjourn the house till 1130 hours.
