Agitated over SC order on sealing, traders meet Advani, Malhotra

New Delhi, Aug 12 (UNI) Concerned over Thursday's Supreme Court order partly staying some provisions of the Delhi Laws (Special Provisions) Act, 2006, traders from various parts of the capital today met senior BJP leader L K Advani to garner support for raising the issue in the ongoing session of Parliament.

A delegation of traders, led by secretary general of the confederation of All India Traders, met Mr Advani this morning and requested him to talk to the Central government.

Mr Advani assured traders that he would personally talk to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to resolve the matter immediately.

The traders had yesterday met senior BJP leader V K Malhotra who had assured them that he had given notice for a call attention motion on the issue in the Lok Sabha for August 14.
