Advani crticises UPA for their vote bank concerns
Navi Mumbai, Apr 10: Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha L K Advani today criticised the UPA government for being more concerned about their 'vote bank' than to tackling terrorism in the country.
Speaking at a meeting organised here on the fifth day of Bharat Suraksha Yatra, Mr Advani said the country was facing several problems including terrorism.
The previous NDA government enacted the POTA to tackle terrorism but UPA government immediately scraped it, he added.
''This government at the Centre cannot fight terrorism but is concerned more for its vote bank,'' said Mr Advani who is on the sixth yatra of his political career.
