Damascus, Sept 03: Amid escalating violence in Syria, it has been reported that two ballistic missiles have been fired towards Deir ez-Zor, the 6th largest city in Syria and the largest in the eastern part of Syria, on Tuesday.

According to reports, two ballistic objects were fired from the central Mediterranean toward the eastern part of the sea at around 10.16 am (Moscow time).

The Russian Defence Ministry claims that two 'ballistic objects' were detected by the Russian radar, that reportedly fell into the Mediterranean Sea.
