Tom Jose is new Kerala Chief Secretary

Thiruvananthapuram, July 1: Senior IAS officer Tom Jose assumed charge as the new Chief Secretary of Kerala.

He took over from Paul Antony, who retired on Saturday. Jose was the Additional Chief Secretary of Labour and Skills Excise and Water Resources Department, prior tothis new appointment.

The 1984 batch IAS officer began his career as Sub Collector of Thrissur and Pathnamthitta districts and went on to occupy various important positions at the state and centre.
