Kerala Shocker: Teenager Alleges Sexual Abuse By 64 People For Over 4 Years, 5 Arrested
A teenage girl has alleged that she was sexually abused by approximately 64 individuals over a span of four years in Kerala's Pathanamthitta district.
Police have arrested five suspects in connection with the case, while a sixth is already in prison. The girl turned 18 two months ago, reported the Times of India.

According to Pathanamthitta Child Welfare Committee chairman, Rajeev N, the teenager first disclosed the abuse during a school counselling session.
Following intervention by the child welfare committee, who were informed by the counsellors, a police case was registered.
The girl, a sportsperson, reported being abused at various locations in Pathanamthitta, including sports camps. Most of the accused are said to be coaches, classmates, and local residents.
Cases have been filed under multiple charges, including provisions of the Pocso Act, across several police stations in the district. The investigation is being supervised by the Pathanamthitta district police chief.
Police revealed that the girl did not own a personal mobile phone and used her father's device, where she had saved the contact numbers of around 40 alleged abusers.
Members of the child welfare committee, deeply shocked by her account, arranged for the girl to undergo counselling with a psychologist to verify the authenticity of her claims.
"Since we realised that it was an unusual case, we informed the SP and asked him to monitor the probe," said the child welfare committee chairman.
