Actor Mani's death: SIT summons 5 for questioning
Thiruvananthapuram, March 7: A special investigation team (SIT) led by Deputy Superintendent of Police K S Sudarshan summoned five people to Chalakudy police station in connection with the death of National Award-winning actor Kalabhavan Mani on Sunday, a News Minute report said.
The five people included an actor as well.

Police reportedly found arrack, an alcoholic drink, from Mani's outhouse, which has been sealed. Earlier, there were also reports that traces of poisonous methyl alcohol was found in the late actor's body. The autopsy was carried out by a special team of doctors at a government hospital in Thrissur on Monday morning. The report was still to be received.
Mani, 45, was unwell for a few days and was admitted to a hospital in Kochi where he passed away on Sunday night. The news about the sudden deterioration in Mani's health condition broke on Sunday afternoon. The death of Mani, who was receiving treatment for a liver-related ailment, was confirmed by the hospital authorities at 7.15 pm.
