Mercury dips below freezing point in Kashmir valley
Srinagar, Nov 18: North India is in the grip of cold wave again. The mercury on Sunday dropped to minus 1 degree in the Kashmir valley.

Lowest temperature was recorded in Leh - minus 10.6 degrees. Kargil has the second lowest temperature with a low of minus 6.8 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature in the capital city, Srinagar, continues to remain below freezing point for the sixth consecutive day.

In Delhi too the minimum temperature was below 10 degree celsius.

The weather department has forecast the maximum temperature at 27 degrees on Monday while the minimum will rise to 10 degrees in Delhi.

Meanwhile the MeT Department says the valley might experience mainly dry weather over the next 24 hours.
