Kashmir is like a colony of India: PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti

According to a report, Mufti made the controversial remark while addressing the mediapersons, "We have to decide whether we will behave like a 'colony' or should we work for the people here."
The PDP had moved an adjournment motion on the issue of recent killings of civilians in Shopian in September and in Kishtwar in August.
Mehbooba Nufti had slammed the ruling NC over inaction in killings incidents.
While lashing out the ruling National Conference party, Mufti said, "The first thing that any govt should do that is register an FIR, but even that took time in Shopian."
In her statement Mufti said, "It is a matter of accountability, if under the pressure of the BJP and others in New Delhi the govt made a minister resign for Kishtwar violence why can't the same accountability be displayed in the cases like Gool incident and 2010 killings of youth in the state."
