Soz said the Congress has no hesitation in accepting the charter of demands from Homshalibug, where the People's Democratic Party had won in 2008, and it will fill the demands for roads, power, drinking water, healthcare and education.

Soz said the upcoming election gives the people a chance to cast in favour of development and reject communal forces like the Rashtriya Sayamsevak Sangh which he said practises hatred and sectarianism.

He said voting for the Congress meant voting against the divisive policy of the RSS.

District president and Congress candidate Anayatullah Rather and block president Abdul Gani Sheikh also spoke on the occasion.
