J&K: Summer vacations for schools in Valley announced

Srinagar, Jul 10: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday announced summer vacation for schools in the Valley and winter zone of the Jammu division.

"All government educational institutions and recognised private schools up to higher secondary level in the Kashmir division and the winter zone areas of the Jammu division will have summer vacation from July 19 to July 28," an official spokesperson said.

He said earlier, the government had deferred summer vacations due to inclement weather conditions.
