Indo-China face-off: Over 300 PLA troops surround almost 100 Indian soldiers

According to reports, around 300 Chinese troops of People's Liberation Army (PLA) have surrounded some 100 Indian soldiers and barred their mobilisation. This incident has been reported from Chumur area in Ladakh.
To confront the Chinese troops that entered the Indian territories on Sunday, around 70 Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel have been deployed in the area.
Sources say that both the countries have sent more soldiers to the face-off site at Demchok. The worst part of this face-off is that it is happening well inside the Indian territory.
Earlier last month, Chinese troops had reportedly entered almost 25 kilometres into India at Burtse area in Ladakh.
In 2014 alone, 334 incidents of Chinese troops' intrusion into Indian border have been reported.
The incidents come just days ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping's meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17.
