The Wimbledon men's singles final between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner was a thrilling contest. Jannik Sinner emerged victorious, defeating Alcaraz with scores of 4-6, 6-4, 6-5. This win marked Sinner as the first Italian to claim the singles title at Wimbledon. The victory also increased his Grand Slam tally to four.
Jannik Sinner's triumph in the final brought him a prize of £3,000,000 (around $4.05 million USD), reflecting an 11% rise from the previous year's £2.7 million. Meanwhile, Carlos Alcaraz, who finished as the runner-up, received £1,520,000 (approximately $2.05 million USD), which is an 8% increase from 2024's £1.4 million.

Prize Money and Points
The total prize fund for Wimbledon 2025 stood at £53.5 million. Both men's and women's singles champions received equal payouts, showing an 8% increase from the prior year. In addition to monetary rewards, Sinner earned 2,000 ATP points for his victory while Alcaraz gained 1,300 points as the runner-up.
Sinner's win ended several streaks held by Alcaraz. Before this match, Alcaraz had a perfect record in major finals with five wins and had defeated Sinner in their last five encounters. Their most recent clash before Wimbledon was at Roland-Garros on June 8, where Alcaraz won after nearly five and a half hours of play.
Breaking Streaks
Alcaraz entered Centre Court with a remarkable career-best streak of 24 consecutive wins. He had also secured victories in his last 20 matches at the All England Club, including triumphs over Novak Djokovic in both the 2023 and 2024 finals.
