Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma Play Pickleball In RCB Camp

Star cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife and actor Anushka Sharma were recently spotted playing pickleball, a sport they were introduced to during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The activity was part of a larger engagement within the RCB camp, where Dinesh Karthik, an RCB mentor, and his wife, professional squash player Deepika Pallikal, also participated.

RCB highlighted this new team interest with a post on Instagram, indicating that pickleball fever has indeed taken hold among its members.

After stepping away from Test cricket, Kohli and Sharma have been seen visiting numerous spiritual sites, an interest that has been part of their lives for several years. Their recent visit to Vrindavan to meet and receive blessings from Sant Premanand Govind Sharan gained significant attention online. This visit was one among many as the couple had been spotted at several holy places before, including the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain and the Neem Karoli Baba ashram, Kainchi Dham in Uttarakhand, in 2023. Such spiritual journeys underscore the personal side of Kohli and Sharma, contrasting with their professional personas.

Virat Kohli's decision to retire from Test cricket was a significant moment in cricket history, concluding a remarkable 14-year career that saw him amass 9,230 runs in 123 matches. This illustrious period included 30 centuries and 31 fifties, cementing his legacy as one of the sport's greats. Kohli announced this decision through an Instagram post, marking the end of an era for both him and Indian cricket. His leadership, particularly in Tests, was transformative, contributing substantially to India's success on the international stage. As captain, he led India to 40 wins, becoming the fourth-most successful Test captain in history.

Kohli's retirement from Test cricket was preluded by a discussion with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) before a five-match Test series against England. His departure from the format marks the end of a significant chapter in India's cricket narrative, wherein his aggressive captaincy, remarkable batting skills, and unmatched dedication significantly bolstered India's position in Test cricket globally.
