Despite not competing in the Diamond League Meeting in Silesia, Poland, on August 16, Chopra's qualification is confirmed. His participation in the Brussels leg on August 22 remains uncertain.

Chopra has accumulated 15 points from two Diamond League meetings, securing his place in the final. He achieved this through one title win and a second-place finish. Currently, he ranks third in the standings, trailing Keshorn Walcott with 17 points and Julian Weber with 15 points. The top six athletes after the Brussels leg will advance to the Zurich finals.

Neeraj Chopra's Recent Performances

Chopra's last competition was at the NC Classic on July 5 in Bengaluru. There, he claimed victory with a throw of 86.18 metres at an event he hosted. Earlier in May, Chopra surpassed the significant 90-metre mark at the Doha Diamond League with a throw of 90.23 metres but finished second to Julian Weber.

In June, Chopra clinched the Paris Diamond League title with a throw of 88.16 metres. These performances have contributed to his strong standing in the Diamond League rankings. As a two-time Olympic medallist and reigning world champion, Chopra continues to be a formidable competitor on the international stage.
