Shoaib Malik And Sana Javed Had A 3-Year Affair, Reveals Pakistan's Samaa TV Podcast

Former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik, who was recently in the news for divorcing Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and marrying Pakistani TV actor Sana Javed, has again hit the headlines. A podcast on Samaa TV, a prominent news TV Channel in Pakistan, claimed that Shoaib Malik and Sana Javed had been having affairs and intimate relations for three years despite being married. The podcast underlined that Sana divorced her former husband, Umair Jaswal, just three months before marrying Malik.

"They were having an affair for the last three years and were intimately involved," a producer of the podcast said.

"Umair didn't know about this, but Sania Mirza and her family and even Malik's family came to know about it last year. Efforts were made to resolve the situation but Malik didn't listen to anyone," the producer added.

Earlier this week, Shoaib Malik shocked everyone when he shared pictures on social media sites after marrying Sana Javed. "Alhamdullilah. And We created you in pairs," Shoaib Malik had captioned his post.

Later, Sania Mirza also confirmed the speculations of divorce through an official statement. Mirza family shared a statement on Instagram that reads: "Sania has always kept her personal life away from the public eyes. However, today the need has arisen for her to share that Shoaib and she have been divorced for a few months now. She wishes Shoaib well for his new journey ahead."

This constitutes Shoaib Malik's third marriage. Prior to his current marriage, he was married to Mirza, with whom he shares a son born on October 30, 2018. Additionally, there was a previous controversial claim of marriage by Ayesha Siddiqui in 2002.
