Rohit Sharma's Wife Ritika Sajdeh deletes 'All Eyes On Rafah' Post Amid Trolling, Applause Pours In From Pak

Ritika Sajdeh, the wife of Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma, recently used her Instagram story to express support for Palestinians in Gaza. She shared a post from the "All Eyes On Rafah" campaign, a social media initiative aimed at raising awareness about the conditions faced by Palestinians in the Rafah area. This gesture, however, led to a wave of criticism on social media, particularly on X.

Some users accused Sajdeh of ignoring important issues within India and suggested she was merely following a trend without fully understanding the situation in Rafah. The post was reportedly removed from her Instagram story later, possibly because of the incessant trolling.

Pakistani Fans Applaud Her Stand

In contrast to the criticism in India, Sajdeh's post received plethora of support from Pakistani netizens, who appreciated her stand on the Israel-Palestine conflict. Pakistani social media users are usually found to be very vocal with their support for Palestine on the entire issue.

"Rohit bhai you won at life," wrote one Pakistani user.

"Instagram Story of Rohit Sharma wife Ritika... Humanity exist", read another.

Meanwhile, Sajdeh is not the only public figure to express support for Palestine; numerous celebs have also shown solidarity with the cause. Stars such as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Tripti Dimri, Samantha Prabhu, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Swara Bhasker, and Dia Mirza have all used their platforms to highlight their concern and support for Palestinians amidst the ongoing conflict.

Interestingly, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari's daughter Rhiti had also shared an 'All Eyes On Rafah' post on her Instagram. She too had to delete the post later due to excessive trolling from the Right-wing groups.
