IPL 2025 Mega Auction In Jeddah: The eagerly awaited IPL 2025 mega auction is set to occur on November 24 and 25, 2024, marking a pivotal moment for the ten franchises as they gear up to assemble their squads for the upcoming season. This grand event, occurring triennially, will witness teams bidding for top-tier talent including Rishabh Pant, Mitchell Starc, KL Rahul, and Jos Buttler among the 577 players slated for auction. Notably, this extensive player pool includes 367 Indian cricketers and 210 from overseas, following the late additions of England's Jofra Archer, USA's Saurabh Netravalkar, and India's Hardik to the originally registered 574 players.
For the first time in its history, the IPL auction will unfold in Saudi Arabia at the Abady Al Johar Arena in Jeddah, which boasts a seating capacity of 15,000.
