IPL 2024 Schedule Out: Finals In Chennai On May 26 - Get Match Dates, Venues & Timings
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the remaining schedule for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. It has also revealed that all 74 matches will be held in India, with key fixtures scheduled in Ahmedabad and Chennai during the latter part of the tournament.
Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator matches are set for May 21 and 22, respectively, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera. Following these, Qualifier 2 and the final will take place at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai on May 24 and 26.

Earlier, the board had only unveiled the schedule for the first 21 games, withholding the full schedule due to the forthcoming general elections. The elections are now scheduled to be conducted in seven phases, commencing on April 19 and concluding with the declaration of results on June 24.
The tournament is poised to recommence with the defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) facing off against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Chennai on April 8.

Notably, the IPL is being expanded to two new cities, as Punjab Kings will play two matches in Dharamsala, while Guwahati will host two matches of Rajasthan Royals.
Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will take on Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Monday. While the Bengaluru team lost against the CSK in their opening match, the Punjab team won against Delhi Capitals in their first match.
