IPL 2024: Gujarat Titans' Young Cricketer Robin Minz Meets With Accident

Ahead of the India Premier League 2024, a piece of bad news arrived for the Gujrat Titans on Sunday. According to the reports, GT's young and promising tribal cricketer Robin Minz met with an accident after he lost control of high speeding bike. The reports said, the 21-year-old cricketer's bike got crashed with another bike last night but the cricketer escaped unhurt. However, he suffered some bruises on his right knee.

Talking to the media, Robin Minz's father said, "He lost control when his bike came in contact with another bike. Nothing serious at the moment and he is currently under observation."

In the recently held IPL 2024 mini auctions, the Gujurat Titans signed Robin Minz for a hefty Rs 3.60 crores deal. The left-handed batsman is popular for his pinch-hitting.

According to the report, the front half of Minaz's superbike Kawasaki got damaged in the accident.

For this season Gujarat Titans added Azmatullah Omarzai (Rs. 50 lakh), Umesh Yadav (Rs. 5.80 crore), Shahrukh Khan (Rs. 7.40 crore), Sushant Mishra (Rs. 2.20 crore), Kartik Tyagi (Rs. 60 lakh), Manav Suthar (Rs. 20 lakh), Spencer Johnson (Rs. 10 crore), and Robin Minz (3.60 crore) to their squad and hoping to clinch the title for the second time.

But this time the team will surely miss skipper Hardik Pandya who has moved to Mumbai Indians now.

After Hardik's departure, Gujarat Titans have named Shubhman Gill as their new captain.
