Jharkhand supplementary budget passed amid disruption
Ranchi, July 27: Amid continued disruption by opposition parties, the Jharkhand Assembly today passed a Rs 4382.49 crore supplementary budget through voice vote.
Opposition parties continued their disruption of the House for the third straight day over various issues, forcing Speaker Dinesh Oraon to briefly adjourn the House twice during the morning session and later he adjourned it till tomorrow.

Members of opposition parties continued their sloganeering and trooped into the well of the House despite the Speaker repeatedly requesting them allow the House to function.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Saryu Rai said that the government wanted the House to function but members of the Opposition continuously disrupted it.
Rai said this behaviour in the House should stop. BJP Chief Whip Radhakrishna Kishore, party MLAs Biranchi Narayan, Raj Sinha, Anant Ojha and others expressed concern over the continued disruption of the House by the Opposition.
