Though, CM Soren wanted all his MLAs back in the state capital on Thursday, but because of adverse weather the MLAs had to extend their stay in Hyderabad.

Passing the floor test is going to be an easy task for Champai Soren as the JMM-Congress-RJD-CPIM alliance has 43 votes in favor, while BJP and its allies have 27 members.

Jharkhand Vidhansabha is an 81-member assembly. Out of which, 1 seat is vacant, so the majority mark will be 51% of 80, that is 41.

Ahead of the floor test, Jharkhand CM Champai Soren said, "We have submitted the report (to the Governor) with 43 MLAs in our support. We expect the number will reach 46-47... so there is no problem. Our 'gathbandhan', or alliance, is very strong."
