Four Naxalites surrender in Chhattisgarh

Raipur,July 27: Four Naxalites, including a woman carrying a reward of Rs 2 lakh on her head, surrendered in the insurgency-hit Bijapur district in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday.

The rebels turned themselves in before senior police officials, citing disappointment with the "empty" ideology of the outlawed CPI (Maoist) and atrocities by senior cadres on them, Bijapur SP KL Dhruv said.
