Chhattisgarh: Baby dies as drunk father throws him on a burning stove

Raipur, Dec 20: When babies cry, then parents usually feed them with milk. But, in Raipur, a

turned monster for his own son as he threw him over a burning stove as he 'disturbed his sleep'.

According to a report, the shocking incident took place on Wednesday night in Lakhpatara village, located at a distance of 5 kilometers from Dharamjaigarh area of Raipur.

On Wednesday, both husband and wife consumed liquor and slept without feeding their baby boy. After midnight, when the baby started crying for milk, Asia Ram Rathiya, the father woke up and threw him on the burning stove as he disturbed his sleep.

Rathiya threatened the villagers not to report the incident to police.

During all this, the mother of the child kept sleeping but woke up after hearing her dying son's screams, but it was too late by then.

After committing the crime, Rathiya threatened the villagers not to report the incident to police otherwise 'he will kill them too'.

But, the 'remorseless' and accused Rathiya was arrested after villagers filed a complaint against him.

It is also said that Rathiya had murdered his ex-wife too and he is known as a hooligan in village.
