Climate Justice Takes Centre Stage at Summit Hosted by ImpleMentors in Delhi
The Climate Justice Summit was hosted by Team ImpleMentors on 19th April at the India International Centre, New Delhi. The event was in collaboration with UNSDSN Youth Nigeria and UN Sustainable Development Goals. The welcome addresswas delivered by Professor Jasteen Dhillon, Senior Advsior at Implementors.
The event began with the Esteemed Panel Discussion starting with Ambassador Manjeev Singh Puri, who discussed the importance of thinking global and acting local. Followed by Dr.Namita Wahi who shed light on the Land Rights Initiative and Climate Economy. Dr.Archana Singh reiterated the importance of inclusive approach. Ms.Seema Joshi linked Climate Justice to organised crimes. Finally, Mr.Rahul Menon concluded the discussion with Climate and Youth based action. The session was moderated by Ms.Garima Rajpal, who summarised the key takeaways from the session.

The Youth Engagement Dialogue was initiated by Ms.Lovisha Jindal followed by the address from UNSDSN nigeria. The delegates actively engaged in discussion nd deliberation which was efficiently moderated by Mr.Rahul Menon and Mr.Ishpreet Singh Luthra.
The closing ceremony was concluded upon the presence of Chief Guest, IPS KPS Malhotra. He presented the awards to winners and delivered a powerful speech.
Additionally representative from UNCCD Youth Caucus delivered their inspiring address to the participants.
As an academic development organisation, Team ImpleMentors presented the opportunity of transforming discussion into action by further allowing all the winners to intern with their academic and NGO partners and lead eco-friendly projects in the upcoming months.
