Shocking: Muslim cleric rapes woman in front of her husband

Bhopal, Nov 11: In a shocking incident, a Muslim

in Dhar allegedly raped a woman and even filmed the entire incident. The cleric used the video footage to blackmail the woman, threaten her and used this against her to rape her multiple times.

What is shocking is that when the woman confided in her husband and told him about the cleric, he did not support her.

Instead of helping her and retaliating against the cleric, the husband in fact allowed the cleric to rape his wife. That is when the cleric raped the woman in front of the husband, while the latter kept mum.

The woman then sought refuge in her family and narrated the entire incident to her family who then urged her to file a complaint against the cleric.

A case has been filed against the cleric and he has been arrested. Police officials said that the accused had been raping the woman since August. The hunt is on for the husband who has been absconding ever since.

The husband works as a driver and hails from Khudail.
