Bangalore shocker: Woman gangraped in HSR Layout, pushed from building

Bangalore, May 12: A 26-year old Mumbai-based

was allegedly gangraped by four men in HSR Layout area in Bangalore on Saturday night.

According to TOI report, the accused threw the victim from the second floor of the building after committing the dastardly act.

The report also said that the victim works in a beauty parlour and was also a sex worker. Presently, she is undergoing treatment at Vani Vilas hospital.

On the basis of the statement of the victim, HSR Layout police has registered an FIR and booked the accused over charges of rape, kidnap and attempt to murder.

In her statement, the survivor has alleged that she met a person on the Outer Ring road, who took her at a lodge, saying that a 'customer' was waiting for her. But when she reached there, four men were already present there.

When she tried to resist them and escape, they took turns to rape her. One of the accused, in an attempt to kill her, pushed her from the second floor of the lodge.

Another report claimed that woman hails from West Bengal and had come from Mumbai to Bangalore, a few days ago. She was reportedly staying in Kurubarahalli. One of the accused was constantly in touch with her.

Meanwhile, further investigation is going on and police is trying to nab the culprits.
