Woman gangraped in Noida, two constables among 4 arrested

Noida, Aug 31: A woman has allegedly been gangraped in an apartment in Sector-39 Noida in Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday.
According to reports, the victim has accused five men of gangraping her.
The incident came to light when the victim filed a complaint against the accused at a police station.
In her complaint, she also alleged that besides gangraping her, the accused beaten her up and also stole her money and ATM card.
In connection with the case, the Noida police claims to have arrested four men, while the search for the fifth accused is going on.
A senior Uttar Pradesh police officer said, "After beating and raping her, they took away the woman's ATM card and withdrew money, which was confirmed by CCTV footage."
In her complaint, the victim alleged that besides gangraping her, the accused beaten her up and also stole her money and ATM card.
Shockingly, out of the five accused, two constables were also involved in the crime and they have also been arrested among the four held.
The recent gangrape case comes close on the heels after a 23-year-old photojournalist was gangraped in Mumbai.
