Ranchi RJ found dead in Bihar; rape suspected

Ranchi, July 24: Ranchi's first RJ, 25-year-old Sneha Singh, was found hanging from the ceiling of a hotel room in Munger district in Bihar, on Wednesday.

Sneha was a popular radio jockey (RJ) in Ranchi from 2008 to 2010.

According to HT report, from past few months, she was working with Jeevika, an NGO of Bihar government, after completing her MBA from St. Xavier's College, Ranchi.

Police found her body in room no. 101 of a hotel in a semi-naked condition and they suspect it to be a case of rape and murder.

Navin Chandra Jha, superintendent of police, Munger said that things will be clear only after post-mortem reports.

Meanwhile, the forensic team of Bihar police is collecting evidence from her hotel room.
While investigating the case, police learnt that she had last talked with a close friend for more than an hour from her mobile.

Jha said that they got in touch with the friend, Sneha had last talked to.
