Another minor raped in MP, admitted to same Nagpur hospital
The private hospital is known for its pediatric expertise and some of the doctors who had attended the deceased victim from Seoni, have devoted themselves to the nine-year-old. Her kidneys were seriously damaged, doctors said.
The nine-year-old girl was moved to the hospital after her condition deteriorated in the government hospital in Jabalpur where she was treated initially.
She was reportedly raped by two youths in Shahdol district of MP on April 23 when she was returning home. The culprits have been arrested.
Children are being attacked by sexual predators at different parts of the country. A five-year-old was kidnapped and brutally raped by two neighbours in Delhi recently, leading to a massive uproar. A 13-year-old was gangraped by eight men over nine days was also recovering at the AIIMS in the national capital.
