Woman allows lover to rape 11-year-old daughter, held

Chennai, Jun 18: A 35-year-old woman was arrested in

for allowing her lover to

her 11-year-old daughter.

The man who had escaped to Kanyakumari was later arrested by the police. The minor was admitted to the Government Rajaji Hospital after she suffered injuries from the assault.

Meanwhile, the accused duo have been charged with charges of rape and abetment.

According to the police, the mother of the victim, Kuppumani was having an affair with 45-year-old M Ravi, a building contractor by profession in Vandiyur.
