, May 8: A 16-year-old boy was allegedly raped by six persons, who also shot an

of the act at Sihani Gate area, Ghaziabad.

The accused threatened the victim of dire consequences and circulate the video if he failed to pay money to them, said reports.

The victim who is a class XI student studies at a leading private school. He was avoiding school for the past one week. On being asked by his parents, he said that some boys were demanding money from him and took money from his cousins to pay them.

"The family then questioned the victim's cousin why he was asking for money. Initially, the cousin avoided the question but later landed the family members in shock by revealing that six persons living in the same colony were sodomising the victim since Feb," said a senior police official.

"The victim's father, in his complaint, has alleged that the accused threatened the victim to either pay the money or they would circulate the MMS. On fear, the victim stopped going to school," added the official.

A case has been registered with the Sihani Gate police station against the accused.

"We have formed teams to nab them. The victim's medical examination has been conducted and report is awaited," said SS Yadav, SP.
