Bihar Police Arrests Chandan Mishra Murder Key Accused Tauseef Badshah In Kolkata

In a significant breakthrough in the Chandan Mishra murder case at Paras Hospital, Patna, authorities have apprehended four additional suspects from Kolkata. Among those arrested are the main shooter, Tauseef Badshah, and his cousin Neeshu Khan. Sources indicate that all shooters had convened near Neeshu's residence. Neeshu is reportedly paralysed and has previously suffered a gunshot wound.

So far, Bihar Police and the Special Task Force (STF) have detained ten individuals linked to the hospital shooting. These detainees are accused of assisting the shooters involved in the crime. The arrests followed coordinated raids conducted across various locations on Saturday.

Coordinated Raids Lead to Multiple Arrests

On Saturday morning, five suspects were taken into custody from Kolkata's New Town area. Later that evening, another five individuals, including a woman, were detained from a guest house in Anandpur, South Kolkata. The raid was executed by Bihar STF and Kolkata Police around 8:45 PM. Authorities are currently interrogating all suspects regarding their roles in the conspiracy and their involvement in the attack.

Among those detained from Anandpur is a female suspect whose role in facilitating the shooting at Paras Hospital is under investigation. Police are examining her involvement alongside other detainees.

Shooter Gang Led by Tauseef Badshah

The gang responsible for the attack was led by Tauseef Badshah from Fulwari Sharif. Other identified shooters include Monu, Surajbhan, and Bhindi (alias Balwant Singh). The identity of the fifth shooter who entered the hospital remains unverified. Another accomplice was stationed outside during the incident.

Most of these shooters hail from Buxar district in Bihar, with Monu originating from Belaur and Balwant from Liladharpur village.

Video Evidence Highlights Recklessness

The shooters displayed audacity during the attack, with Tauseef reportedly filming the murder. Durgesh Pathak, who attempted to protect Chandan Mishra, sustained an injury to his big toe from a bullet fragment. Another individual, Krishnakant Pandey, managed to survive by hiding in a bathroom.

Kolkata Accused Charged with Conspiracy

The suspects arrested in Kolkata face charges related to aiding the murder conspiracy. This includes helping shooters escape Patna for Kolkata and supplying weapons for the crime. Harsh (alias Harish Kumar) allegedly assisted in scouting Paras Hospital two days before the shooting while Neeshu provided shelter near the hospital premises.

A white vehicle was also seized by police from the guest house in Anandpur as part of their investigation.

The police continue to question all detained suspects as they strive to uncover more details and capture any remaining conspirators involved in this brutal killing at Paras Hospital.
