Delhi Teen Stabbed Near Home, Protests Erupt In Seelampur
Following the fatal stabbing of a 17-year-old kid in the Seelampur neighborhood of Delhi on Thursday night, there were widespread demonstrations and disturbances in the region. Just 100 meters from the victim's residence, the event happened in J-Block at approximately 7:38 p.m., according to the police. Kunal, the adolescent, was attacked after he went outside to get milk. The attackers left the area after completing the stabbing. After being taken to JPC Hospital in severe condition, Kunal passed away from his wounds while receiving treatment.
Outrage over the incident was quick. Traffic was stopped as a sizable throng gathered in protest and blocked the main route that connects ISBT Kashmiri Gate to Ghaziabad.
Tensions in the neighborhood escalated after locals claimed the attackers were members of a specific community. Authorities used a strong security presence to keep the peace when the protest got out of control.

As soon as the police were informed, they started an investigation. A crime squad was sent to the scene of the occurrence, and a team from Seelampur Police Station visited the hospital to gather information.
To obtain leads, officers are going door-to-door and analyzing CCTV footage from surrounding stores. According to officials, a case has been filed at the Seelampur Police Station, and many teams have been assembled to find the culprits.
"Hindu Exodus" posters were noticed on a number of homes in the region, particularly in areas with a majority of Muslims, as another indication of the escalating unrest. Residents are alarmed and worried about the posters, which read "Hindu Palayan, Ye Makaan Bikau Hai, Yogi Ji" (Hindu Exodus, This House Is for Sale, Yogi Ji). According to local reports, the posters capture the intense feelings of anxiety, annoyance, and unease that Hindu families have had since the murder.
As investigations continue and officials keep an eye on the developing scenario, security personnel continue to be stationed across the neighborhood.
