in New Delhi on Friday, Dec 20. According to sources, he was rushed to hospital following his complaint of uneasiness.

Lalu recently has been released from Birsa Munda jail in Bihar. He has been found guilty in the infamous fodder scam. After his release from jail, Lalu was quoted as saying that he would "travel across the country to convince leaders of different secular and democratic parties to join hands to take on communal and fascist forces, led by BJP's (Bharatiya Janata Party) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi."

He also claimed that he was with the Congress and will support and back the party. "RJD is always open for an alliance with the Congress to strengthen secular forces in Bihar and outside."

Now, citing his deteriorated health condition, it seems that Lalu's plans for touring the country ahead of Lok Sabha elections 2014 might be spoilt.
