Before taking office on February 20, CM-designate Rekha Gupta reiterated her commitment to fulfilling this pledge. She stated that all 48 BJP MLAs in Delhi are responsible for realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision. Gupta emphasized that women would receive the promised financial support by March 8.

Implementation Discussions

Rekha Gupta mentioned that several meetings have been held with officials to discuss implementing the Mahila Samriddhi Yojana. The BJP's victory in the Delhi Assembly elections was significant, winning 48 out of 70 seats and ending a decade-long rule by AAP.

Virendraa Sachdeva expressed his sentiments about Women's Day, saying, "March 8 is Women's Day, and I feel that every day in India should be celebrated as Women's Day." He added that the government is committed to working for all sections of society.

The assurance from CM Rekha Gupta has brought hope to many women in Delhi who are eagerly awaiting the financial aid. The BJP-led government aims to deliver on its promises and provide support to eligible women by March 8.
