12-Hour Water Supply Cut In Delhi Today And Tomorrow: Check If Your Area Is Affected

The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has announced that water supply will be disrupted in several parts of the national capital for 12 hours on both Wednesday and Thursday due to essential maintenance work. Residents are advised to store an adequate amount of water in advance. Areas expected to be affected include Kailash Nagar, Lajpat Nagar, Moolchand, Greater Kailash, Sarai Kale Khan, Jal Vihar, and Vasant Kunj.

In a post on X, the DJB alerted the public: "WATER ALERT! Due to major maintenance at Sonia Vihar WTP, water supply in South Delhi will be disrupted for 12 hours starting from 10:00 AM on 23.10.2024. The water supply will not be available in the evening on 23.10.2024 and the morning of 24.10.2024."

12-Hour Water Supply Cut In Delhi On Friday

The DJB also stated that water supply will be unavailable for 12 hours on Friday in parts of Delhi. Affected areas include Inder Puri, Maya Puri, Toda Pur Village, Dasghara, Naraina Village, Naraina Vihar, Mansarovar Garden, and parts of Kirti Nagar.

The disruption is due to interconnection work on a newly laid pipeline near Rajouri Garden Metro Station. Water supply will be affected from 10 AM to 10 PM on Friday, and water tankers will be available on request via the DJB helpline.
