RSS corners Congress over Digvijay Singh's "Taliban tweet"

Diggy lands in trouble for "tweet"
Nagpur, Nov 3: So Digvijay Singh landed in trouble yet again for tweeting on "ideology of hate".

Veteran Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader MG Vaidya on Saturday lashed out at Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh for his recent tweet that RSS is the Hindu version of the Taliban.

"I hate all those who advocate Ideology of Hate including Taliban and I won't allow the Hindu version of Taliban to succeed in India," Singh had tweeted. Vaidya said Singh should not be taken seriously as he is mentally unstable. The octogenarian said he fails to understand why the media takes Singh so seriously.

Singh also wondered whether Modi was "ditching" RSS icons in the process of " hijacking" Patel's legacy. "Is Narendra Modi ditching RSS Icons Golwalkar, Deen Dayal Uppadhyay & Shyamaprasad Mukherji? Now trying to hijack Patel's legacy?" Singh had tweeted. "Can't blame Modi. This is what RSS indoctrinates its Cadres! History as RSS sees it!" he added in his tweet.

"I don't understand why people take Digvijay Singh seriously. I have said several times that he is not mentally stable. The elections are approaching and so these kinds of things will continue," he said.
