Nagpur: Three held for raping seven-year-old deaf and dumb girl

Nagpur, Jan 29: NCP leader Asha Mirge who is currently being criticised for her sexist remarks on 'Nirbhaya

case and the Shakti Mills gangrape case' in fact reported a rape case with the police officials here few days back.

A seven-year -old deaf and dumb girl was raped by three men from Hingoli district on Jan 13 after she was admitted to the school on Jan 6. The accused work in the school as peon, caretaker and teacher.

After the girl was bleeding she was admitted to the Akola Government Medical College for treatment, Mirge took the issue with the police officials, who swung into action and arrested all the three accused.

The girl, who is currently undergoing tratement was said to be bleeding profusely went she was brought to the hospital. Though the doctors conducted an operation and managed to subside the bleeding, she is not yet out of danger.
