BJP Chief’s Son Flees After Audi Hits Multiple Vehicles In Nagpur
In Nagpur, an Audi registered in the name of Maharashtra BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule's son was involved in a significant accident on Monday.
The vehicle, which was carrying five occupants, collided with several other vehicles in the Ramdaspeth area, resulting in injuries and leading to three of the occupants, including Sanket Bawankule, fleeing the scene, as reported by India Today.

According to officials, the accident occurred around 1 a.m. when the Audi first struck the car of complainant Jitendra Sonkamble. The collision caused damage to Sonkamble's vehicle and then proceeded to hit a moped, injuring the two individuals riding it.
The car, which had been driven by Arjun Haware, continued to cause further damage as it collided with additional vehicles on the way to Mankapur. At the T-Point, the Audi hit a Polo car. The occupants of the Polo car pursued the Audi and managed to stop it near the Mankapur bridge, as reported by Indi
Out of the five people in the Audi, Arjun Haware and Ronit Chittamwar were arrested by those who had pursued the vehicle. They were subsequently taken to Tehsil police station and later transferred to Sitabuldi police for further investigation. The remaining three, including Sanket Bawankule, fled the scene and have not yet been apprehended.
Preliminary reports indicate that Haware and Chittamwar were intoxicated at the time of the accident. A case of rash driving and other related offences has been filed against them based on Sonkamble's complaint. Haware and Chittamwar were later released on bail.
Chandrashekhar Bawankule, the BJP leader and father of the son involved, has called for an impartial and thorough investigation into the incident. He has stated that the investigation should be conducted without bias and that those found responsible should be held accountable. Bawankule emphasized that he had not intervened with any police officials and that justice must be applied equally to all individuals involved.
