Mysuru Apartment Horror: Family of Four Found Dead, Police Probe Begins

A shocking incident unfolded in Mysuru's Visveshwara Nagar on Monday morning when a family of four was found dead in their apartment. The deceased have been identified as Chethan (45), his wife Rupali (43), his mother Priyamvadha (62), and his son Kushal (15).

According to the police, Chethan is suspected of poisoning his mother, wife, and son before hanging himself. The exact reason behind the tragedy is yet to be confirmed. Reports suggest that Chethan spoke to his brother Bharat, who lives in the US, around 4 AM before ending his life. During the call, he reportedly said, "We are going to commit suicide." Alarmed, Bharat immediately contacted Rupali's parents, urging them to check on the family. However, by the time his mother-in-law arrived, all four were dead.

Mysuru Police Commissioner Seema Latkar, DCP Jahnavi, and Vidyaranyapuram Inspector Mohit visited the scene, and a case has been registered at the Vidyaranyapuram police station. Commissioner Seema Latkar stated that the investigation is ongoing and further details cannot be disclosed at this time.

Chethan, originally from Gorur in Hassan district, had been living in Mysuru with his wife Rupali since 2019. He was reportedly involved in sending workers to Saudi Arabia.

Before taking his own life, Chethan left behind a death note that read,"We are responsible for our own deaths. We are dying due to financial problems. No one else is responsible. Please do not trouble our friends and relatives. Forgive us. I AM SORRY."

The police have launched a detailed investigation to uncover the full circumstances behind the tragic incident.
