Following the break-in, Saif Ali Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, one of Mumbai's most renowned medical institutions, known for treating several high-profile celebrities. Dr. Niraj Uttamani, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Lilavati Hospital, provided an update on the actor's condition.

"Saif has sustained six injuries, two of which are deeper and require immediate surgical intervention. One of the injuries is dangerously close to his spine. He is currently being operated on by Neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Leena Jain, and anaesthetist Dr. Nisha Gandhi," said Dr. Uttamani, as per Hindustan Times report.

He further mentioned that one of the injuries was located on Saif's neck, requiring close evaluation. The surgery began at 5:30 am and was still underway as of 8:30 am. Doctors will be able to assess the full extent of his injuries only after the procedure is completed.
